Call for partners – Accredited NGO-s from EU countries ONLY Group EVS project - Action 2 under Youth in Action Program EVERY ORGANISATION SHALL SENT 2 VOLUNTEERS Priority will be given to volunteers with fewer opportunities Title of the project : GREEN YOU (th) ! This is a GROUP EVS project that will bring together 20 Volunteers from all over Europe for a period of 2 months and will be hosted from Beyond Barriers Association in Albania. We would like to host a short term project starting from 1 April 2011 and ending on 31 May 2011, involving 20 volunteers aged 18 to 27 years old. The aim of this project is to bring together young people from Europe, whom in collaboration with our local volunteers can help to raise the awareness on environmental issues in Albania, focusing more on the seaside where pollution is a ‘hot spot’ of the last years. We hope that by having possibility to bring together young Europeans and get in the terrain to collect the garbage, organize awareness mini campaigns and local action ; can help the public opinion to change their attitude towards the issue and make the youngsters more aware on preserving the environment and participating more actively in the life of their communities. During the 2 months project the volunteers will have possibility to participate and organize several local and street actions and they will have the support of Beyond Barriers organization in realizing their initiatives inside the project. Non formal education will be the bases of the whole project, where an important accent will be given to creativity and innovation in all the inside actions of this 2 months project. Objectives :
 Raise the awareness of youngsters towards having a clean environment for a healthy life
 Promote active participation of young people in order to improve the life of the communities
 Help in promoting young active citizens, that can act as peers especially related to environmental issues
 Involve socially excluded youngsters into the life of the community and give them a chance to be active citizens
 Promote the EVS in Albanian reality and enhance the added value of Youth in Action Program
